Position & rock
Use your forearms for support. Follow the manual’s side-to-side and forward-back rocking movements. You can adjust your weight by pushing your torso away from the Wedge with your forearms.
Watch the demonstration, get familiar with the Wedge, then review each movement at your own pace.
The manual starts by locating the Wedge while standing: the top faces your body, the lip points toward your midline, and the slope faces outward.
The original manual describes placement about three inches to either side of the navel, with the abdomen on top/inside of the lip. This is the manufacturer’s description, not a universal safe-pressure location. Use a non-slippery surface as directed in the manual.
Watch the demonstration, check the setup above, then learn the four movements from the Body Wedge instruction manual.

Reach the arm on the same side as the Wedge out in front of you, then bring it back to the starting position.
Raise the knee on the same side as the Wedge off the floor, then lower it back down.
Move the heel on the same side as the Wedge inward toward the other heel, then outward away from it, as shown in the manual.
The manual finishes by moving the Wedge to the other side and repeating the sequence. Four repetitions is the manufacturer’s instruction, not a requirement to continue through discomfort.
